Dan Lăzărescu takes helm at Bosch Romania

Dan Lăzărescu has been named the new General Manager of Robert Bosch Romania. and the representative of the Bosch Group, effective from October 2025.

He succeeds Mihai Boldijar, who is retiring after three decades with the company, including 10 years at the helm of Bosch's operations. 

Lăzărescu, an engineer with over 24 years of national and international experience, is a graduate of the Politehnica University of Bucharest, where he also earned a PhD. He began his career with Bosch in 2001 in Stuttgart and has held various key roles in software and hardware engineering, leading complex teams of over 500 people. His international experience includes significant automotive projects in Europe, North America, Japan, and China.

“Although we are going through a moment of major transformation, both at the industry level and within Bosch, I have learned that you can turn challenges into growth opportunities, and this is one of my major objectives. For the future, I want us to continue to have a clear direction and stability to remain competitive," said the new GM.

In 2024, Bosch reported consolidated sales of €529.5 million in Romania. The company has a strong presence in the country with over 10,000 employees and seven entities.
