Grup Șerban Holding has inaugurated the Moldavia Poultry Farm, an €11.5 million investment located on European Road E85 in Orbeni commune, Bacău County.
The project received €7.5 million in non-refundable funds through poultry sector support programmes. It represents one of Romania's most significant poultry infrastructure investments, designed to increase domestic production capacity and ensure stable supply of locally produced eggs.
The farm spans nearly 55,000 sqm and includes eight laying-hen houses accommodating 160,000 birds and two replacement-pullets houses for 40,000 birds. The facility has an estimated annual production capacity of 50 million eggs.
Products will be marketed under the Moldavia brand, Grup Serban's new proprietary label targeting consumers who prefer Romanian products. The company positions the brand as offering safe, superior quality products.
The strategic location on one of Romania's most frequently trafficked road corridors provides logistical advantages for distribution across the country.
