DRI, the European renewables arm of DTEK, has announced the appointment of Murat Cinar as its new CEO.
He succeeds Ivan Geliukh, who will take on new responsibilities within the broader DTEK Group. Under Geliukh's leadership, DRI refined its business model, strengthened its management team, and consolidated its position in key European markets, including Romania.
The executive brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the telecom and technology sectors, having held senior roles in more than 10 international markets. His previous positions include CEO of Korek Telecom and Vega Telecom Group, a part of SCM Group which is the parent company of DTEK.
"Drawing on my experience in growth strategies, M&A, and change management, I look forward to leading DRI through the next stage of its development — executing our strategy to be an active player in Europe's renewable energy market," said the new CEO.
The company is supporting the energy transition in Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe.
