NextPower, a provider of solar and power technology solutions for utility-scale power plants, has launched new solar tracker and foundation technologies designed to simplify installation, increase site flexibility and support the performance of solar projects.
Depending on site conditions, solar tracker systems can increase energy yields in Romania by approximately 10–17% compared with fixed-tilt systems. Combined with NextPower's TrueCapture technology, yield improvements can reach up to 20%.
As renewable energy deployment accelerates, developers are increasingly required to build projects in more complex environments while maintaining project economics. In response, NextPower is expanding its portfolio with solutions aimed at improving project execution and enabling flexibility in project design and construction.
The company is also introducing its reimagined NX Gemini tracker system. Solar trackers automatically adjust the position of photovoltaic panels throughout the day to follow the sun, helping power plants generate more electricity from the same installed capacity.
