The Romanian Business Leaders Foundation (RBL) has been accepted as a member of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's Civil Society Steering Committee for a two-year mandate from 2026 to 2027.
The committee serves as one of EBRD's key initiatives to strengthen dialogue and partnership between the bank and civil society organisations across its operational regions. It functions as an additional consultative platform with focus on transparency, accountability and engagement with partners from all EBRD operational areas.
Committee members will serve from January 2026 until the end of 2027, acting as a bridge between EBRD and local communities to develop impactful projects for economic and social development.
"RBL will contribute to the committee's mission and considers this a valuable opportunity to bring our experience and expertise into constructive dialogue with EBRD at regional level," the foundation stated. RBL will be represented by Iulia Manole, Head of Public Affairs, and Alexandru Dincovici, General Director.
The foundation operates through over 600 community members across Bucharest and eight local branches, focusing on entrepreneurship, education and good governance.
