Raiffeisen Asset Management (RAM) manages around 15% of the financial assets of Raiffeisen Group's individual clients in Romania, almost double the market average.

With €1.73 billion in assets managed for approximately 180,000 investors in investment funds and 150,000 participants in the Raiffeisen Acumulare voluntary pension fund, the company has generated cumulative profits of over €600 million for its clients over this period.

"We have evolved over the past 20 years, and in many ways the evolution of Raiffeisen Asset Management reflects Romania's own transformation in the same period," said Mihail Ion, Vice President Retail and Member of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank Romania.

"Twenty years ago the entire Romanian asset management industry held around €60 million in assets. Today, our company alone attracts about €60 million in client subscriptions in a single month. (...) When we compare Romania with countries that have reached similar GDP per capita, it is clear our industry still has substantial room to grow."

Over the past year and a half, RAM's managed assets grew by more than 60%, reflecting investor confidence and growing interest in medium- and long-term placements. RAM holds a 20% market share according to AAF data and ranks third among investment fund managers in Romania.
