Romanian software company Arobs Transilvania Software has signed an agreement to acquire Quest Global Romania, the local unit of global engineering services provider Quest Global Engineering Services.

The transaction will be settled entirely through the issuance of new Arobs shares, with no cash component. The newly issued shares will be subject to a one-year lock-up period from the closing date. This marks Arobs' first acquisition where the full consideration is paid in equity, as part of the company's M&A strategy.

Quest Global Romania is headquartered in Craiova and has a team of approximately 110 specialists. The company provides software application development, embedded solutions, testing and quality assurance services to international clients in North America, Western Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. Its technical expertise covers web, mobile, desktop, and data-driven solutions across industries including automotive, healthcare, semiconductors, oil & gas, and software.

"The integration of Quest Global Romania team supports the Group's ability to undertake more complex projects and to develop long-term relationships with global clients," according to a statement by Voicu Oprean, Chairman of the Board of Directors. The operational management will continue under the current team, led by Ana-Maria Vasilescu.

Quest Global Romania is part of Quest Global, a Singapore-headquartered engineering services group with over 22,000 employees operating in more than 18 countries. The acquisition follows several transactions completed by Arobs during 2025, including the acquisitions of SVT Electronics, Codingscape in the United States, and Gess Engineering. The transaction is expected to complete in H1 2026.
