Affidea Romania continues its expansion plan in integrated medical services and announces the acquisition of five centres: Phoenix clinics in Bucharest, Arad, Sf. Gheorghe, Sighetu Marmaţiei and GMH Clinic in the capital. The Affidea network now reaches 81 clinics in 33 cities.

Through this expansion, Affidea Romania develops its national presence and capacity to offer rapid access to quality medical services, closer to patients. This investment marks Affidea's entry into two new cities - Sf. Gheorghe and Sighetu Marmaţiei - and extends imaging and outpatient services in areas with increased need for diagnostic access.

The expansion reflects Affidea's commitment to building an integrated medical services ecosystem, where patients benefit from a complete journey from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and monitoring.

"We continue to invest in expanding the Affidea network to be closer to patients and to respond to a real need for rapid access to modern, safe and quality medical services in as many communities in Romania as possible. In this context, integrating the new clinics represents an important step in our development strategy and in our mission to build a more accessible and efficient medical system," says Răzvan Predica, Cluster CEO Affidea Romania, Hungary and Greece.

The new Phoenix centres contribute to expanding diagnostic and treatment capacity. At Phoenix Sf. Gheorghe, patients can perform MRI investigations and ultrasounds, while at Phoenix Sighetu Marmaţiei and Bucharest CF 2, MRI examinations are available. Patients at Phoenix Arad benefit from an extended range of services: MRI investigations and specialist consultations in Neurology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Orthopaedic Traumatology.
