Cloud9, part of Alfa Group's real estate division, has begun construction on the second phase of its Cloud9 Evolution residential project in northern Bucharest. The company is investing €80 million in this phase, part of a total €170 million budget for the entire development.
The project spans 3.2 hectares and will deliver 1,148 apartments including studios, two-, three-, four-room units and penthouses, plus an innovative 2.5-room layout. The development includes over 1,200 parking spaces, with the second phase contributing 536 residential units and over 540 parking spaces.
"Cloud9 Evolution meets the principles of the 15-minute city, offering quick access to all points of interest and facilities required for a lifestyle," said Răzvan Brasla, CEO of Cloud9. The first phase is 50% sold, with delivery expected within 12 months, while the second phase is scheduled for completion in 2027.
The development features contemporary architecture with dynamic facades and U-shaped buildings that create interior spaces and social areas. All apartments include large glass surfaces, terraces, underfloor heating, and smart home systems. Integrated photovoltaic panels power common areas to improve energy efficiency.
Starting in 2026, a modern educational facility will open within the development. The second phase will add commercial spaces including a cafeteria, artisan bakery, laundry, fitness room, basketball court, and wellness areas. "We are building an ecosystem where technology, sustainability, and community complement each other, offering not just apartments, but a complete setting for an active and balanced life," Brasla added.
