Romanian property developer Alezzi Group has completed the transfer of its concrete production operations to Heidelberg Materials Romania, the construction materials producers.

The transaction marks a milestone in the Group's evolution, enabling the company to concentrate its resources on developing residential projects. Alezzi's concrete division was initially created to ensure direct production capabilities and quality control for the company's own projects. Over time, the business line maintained operational standards and evolved into a mature operation with efficiency standards that drew the interest of major investors.

"We developed this operation to maintain direct control over the quality of our projects and built it with the same discipline and rigor that define the growth of the entire Alezzi Group. The fact that this activity is being taken over by a global player such as Heidelberg Materials confirms both our position in the market and the consistency of our business model," stated an Alezzi Group representative. "In this new stage, we aim to further strengthen our focus on the area where Alezzi Group has generated the greatest impact over the years: real estate development."

The collaboration between the two entities will continue through a supply agreement. Alezzi will continue using concrete produced in the same facilities, now operated under Heidelberg Materials' management. This agreement ensures continuity in technical standards and offers customers the assurance of quality backed by the expertise of a global industry leader.

Alezzi is a real estate developer based in Constanța, with more than 20 years of experience in the local market. The company has developed multiple residential and logistics projects in Constanța, Mamaia and Mamaia Nord, totalling more than 3,000 apartments. In 2024, Alezzi reported revenues of over €28 million and a gross profit of €13 million.
