North Bucharest Investments (NBI), a real estate advisory and brokerage company, has repaid more than €1 million in principal to investors on the Stock.estate crowdfunding platform, closing three financing rounds approximately one month ahead of their contractual maturity dates. The repayments were made together with interest accrued over the actual investment periods.
"Capital raised fuels growth, but capital repaid builds trust. For NBI, the early repayment of three financing rounds totalling more than €1 million reflects our commitment to responsible investor relations and the financial discipline underpinning our development," said Vlad Musteață, founder and CEO of North Bucharest Investments.
The repayments come as Stock.estate reports accelerated growth. As of 21 October 2026, the platform had recorded approximately €14.6 million in total invested capital, attracted more than 17,400 registered users and funded 105 campaigns. Total principal repayments across the platform had reached approximately €6 million, while interest payments to investors had exceeded €913,000.
"The future of real estate financing will not depend exclusively on bank lending. Real estate crowdfunding broadens access to a wider investor base while providing companies with a complementary source of funding. The maturity of this model should not be measured solely by the millions of euros raised, but, more importantly, by the capital repaid and the trust reaffirmed," said Vicențiu Vlad, CEO of Stock.estate.
NBI works with more than 80 property developers and manages a portfolio of over 100 residential projects, approximately 40% of which are held on an exclusive basis. The collaboration with Stock.estate forms part of NBI's strategy to diversify its sources of capital and is intended to support future financing rounds.
For companies using crowdfunding, a proven repayment track record is considered an important factor in establishing financial credibility. These instruments carry specific risks, including the potential loss of invested capital, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
