Woot.ro, Romania's most advanced courier marketplace, underwent a major transformation in 2024, focusing on improving business performance indicators, consolidating its customer portfolio, and enhancing operational efficiency through investments in new features and services.

Thus, Woot.ro closed 2024 with a turnover of over RON 13 million, a 7.5% increase compared to the previous year, and an EBITDA level of RON 1.6 million, up by 30%, demonstrating the consolidation and efficiency of its operations.

“We aim to accelerate innovation through continuous platform optimization and the integration of new features that meet the evolving needs of our customers. We invest in technologies that simplify logistics processes and enhance operational efficiency. We concluded an excellent year for Woot, both in terms of growth and the development of projects and partnerships, such as those with BT STUP, Gomag Shipments, and Syncap. With these solid foundations, 2025 will be a year of sustainable expansion and consolidation of our position as a pioneer in the digitalization of courier services in Romania,” said Cosmin Berendea, CEO and Founder of Woot.ro.

Growth Across All Business Segments

The individual customer segment is an important part of Woot's portfolio, recording a 15% growth last year. The company will continue to capitalize on this growth and the trend of users choosing courier platforms offering multiple delivery options, aiming for similar performance in 2025.

Another segment that exceeded expectations was the business customer segment, with an 11% increase in 2024. The company estimates significant growth in the coming years, supported by budgeted investments to optimize the platform dedicated to this customer category.

Woot's portfolio includes a wide range of clients, developed over 7 years of activity, from those shipping one order per month to those exceeding 10,000 monthly shipments, with the platform adapting to each client's needs.

Regarding services offered, locker and fixed-point deliveries provided by couriers enrolled on the Woot platform showed strong growth last year—an increase of 15%, indicating that this option is gaining more traction among customers and consumers in Romania.

“The performance recorded in 2024 reflects our operational efficiency and ability to manage economic challenges. Key lessons for us have been adaptability and perseverance, values that will guide the company in the years to come. In 2025, we will continue to invest smartly in technology and strengthen strategic partnerships, ensuring sustainable growth and a positive impact on our customers and partners,” added Violeta Berendea, CFO and Founder of Woot.ro.

Looking ahead to 2025, Woot.ro estimates organic growth of 15% for the B2B segment and 50% for individual customers—a trend observed across the entire market.

Additionally, the company anticipates a 30% increase in parcel volumes, in the context of a courier market expected to grow by approximately 11%.

Innovation and Continuous Development

For Woot, 2024 was marked by the launch of key products and services in response to customer expectations and needs. At the end of the previous year, the company launched WootSHOP, an online store dedicated to entrepreneurs for purchasing shipping supplies directly from the platform.

The company also continued to invest in the development and optimization of new.woot.ro (for individuals) and pro.woot.ro (for businesses—online stores looking to optimize their logistics through automation and reduced costs). Thanks to its integrations, pro.woot.ro synchronizes perfectly with popular e-commerce platforms, facilitating order management. Additionally, the fast cash-on-delivery service, which transfers funds within 24 hours after parcel delivery, provides a key competitive advantage for entrepreneurs, along with the integration of fixed points and lockers.

Woot.ro is Romania's most advanced courier marketplace, with over 100,000 active users and more than 3 million parcels delivered. The platform supports entrepreneurs through digital logistics solutions, advanced technology integrations, and strategic partnerships in the e-commerce sector.
