Private healthcare chain Memorial Group has expanded its presence in the Romanian market with the opening of Memorial City Gate Clinic, a new unit focused on outpatient care.

The new clinic, which represents a €3 million investment, is the group's second in the country and its 13th internationally.

Spanning over 2,100 sqm, the clinic offers a wide range of services across 40 medical specialties, including cardiology, internal medicine, paediatrics, and gynaecology.

The new clinic will work in tandem with Memorial Băneasa Hospital, the group's first unit in the country, which will continue to be a centre of excellence for complex cases, surgical interventions, and inpatient care.

Adrian Lungu, General Manager of Memorial Romania, said: "We aim to become a long-term, trusted partner for everyone's wellbeing."

He added that the direct connection with Memorial Băneasa Hospital allows them to offer patients a complete medical journey, from initial investigations to complex treatment solutions.

The new clinic accepts both private and public patients, with services also available under contract with the National Health Insurance House.
