Hidroelectrica's Supervisory Board has initiated the selection and appointment process for a new CEO and CFO.
This action follows the mutually agreed upon termination of the mandates of the previous CEO, Karoly Borbely, and CFO, Marian Fetita at the end of last week.
The selection will be conducted by an independent human resources expert, in line with regulation regarding the corporate structure of state-owned enterprises.
Meanwhile, Bogdan Badea and Radu Constantin have been appointed as the provisional CEO and CFO, respectively.
Hidroelectrica, Romania's largest producer of green energy, operates 188 plants with a hydro energy capacity of 6.4 GW and also owns a 108 MW wind farm in Crucea. The company is also investing in its first floating PV system.
