Romanian construction company Bog'Art has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, marking the second year the company voluntarily reports on its environmental, social and governance performance. The report demonstrates the company's commitment to transparency and sustainable development in Romania's construction industry.

With nearly 35 years of experience and a portfolio spanning civil works, strategic infrastructure and utility networks, Bog'Art has strengthened its position as a leader integrating sustainability into its operations. The company handles projects across all development stages, from design and permitting to execution and handover.

The 2024 report was developed voluntarily in line with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) elements, including double materiality assessment, and concepts aligned with GRI standards. A key achievement is reaching 4 out of 9 sustainability objectives initially set for 2028, four years ahead of schedule.

"Our second ESG Report confirms that sustainability is a continuous process, deeply embedded in the way we work. The results achieved in 2024 demonstrate that the measures implemented at both operational and site levels generate real and measurable impact," stated Bogdan Doicescu, Group CEO & Executive Board Member of the Bog'Art Group. The report was developed with support from BuildGreen, a specialist consultancy that has assisted the company since its first year of reporting.

Compared to the previous year, Bog'Art recorded operational improvements including a 32% reduction in water consumption on construction sites, 6% decrease in electricity consumption and 34% reduction in gas consumption at headquarters. The company also achieved a 37% decrease in metal materials use and a 415% increase in recycled and responsibly disposed materials.
