Lider Servicii announces 20% turnover growth in 2024

Business Forum
Lider Servicii, one of the main players on the Romanian building materials and thermal insulation market, ended 2024 with a turnover of RON 116 million, marking a 20% increase compared to the previous year. The company estimates a turnover of RON 125 million for 2025, continuing its upward trajectory on the back of strategic investments and the expansion of production capacities.

"The company's steady growth is based on the continuous development of our product portfolio, investments in infrastructure and strengthening relationships with our partners. In 2025, we plan to expand our production capacity and open a new logistic warehouse in the Bucharest-Ilfov area," said Mihai Cocos, Commercial Director of Lider Servicii.

In 2024, Lider Servicii has earmarked significant investments for the development of a new production hall, the expansion of storage areas, the acquisition of new production lines and the modernization of the vehicle fleet.

The company currently has a market share of between 7% and 15% in certain product segments, with a target of 3% growth over the next two years. The best-selling products in the portfolio are thermal insulation systems, which account for 40% of total sales, followed by drywall profiles and accessories.

In terms of geographic distribution, in 2024, the highest demand reported by Lider Servicii was in the counties of Suceava, Iași, Constanța, Timișoara, Bacău and Bucharest. In 2025, the company forecasts a significant increase in demand in Bucharest and Ilfov, with the area expected to enter the top 3 sales-generating regions.

"The construction materials industry in Romania has stagnated in 2024, influenced by the raw materials crisis and slowing investment in the residential sector. However, public investments through the PNRR have supported the market, and we expect it to grow slightly in the coming years. We are also seeing an evolution in demand for premium products as end-users and builders move towards more sustainable and energy-efficient solutions," added Mihai Cocoș.

Lider Servicii actively invests in sustainable solutions, with 90% of its products made from recyclable materials. The company utilizes green energy in production and logistics, covering 30% of the energy consumption of the production unit with photovoltaic panels and 50% in warehouses. In addition, 75% of the company's car fleet is made up of hybrid vehicles and the forklifts in the warehouse are electric.
