TeraPlast completes acquisition of Aquatica Experience Group

TeraPlast has announced the completion of its acquisition of a 51% stake in Aquatica Experience Group (AEG) in a deal worth €2 million.

As part of the transaction, the buyer provided a loan of €1.5 million to support the growth of the new subsidiary. 

In addition to the acquisition, TeraPlast has appointed Ovidiu Gurău, the company's Commercial Director, as Co-administrator of AEG.

AEG is an integrated engineering player, specializing in water treatment, purification, and management solutions, including digital components. This acquisition is set to expand TeraPlast's portfolio of integrated water management solutions.

AEG is also involved in the establishment of a European consortium known as the Knowledge and Innovation Community Water (KIC). The consortium aims to create a center of excellence and innovation in water infrastructure in Romania, focusing on ensuring water resource availability and the safety of water delivery. 

TeraPlast shares were up 0.82% to RON 0.36 on Wednesday afternoon trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
