Ecolet buys commercial operations of Curier Online

Business Forum
Ecolet, a digital marketplace for courier services part of the Alsendo Group, has acquired the commercial operations of Curier Online in Romania, in a bid to strengthen its presence in the local e-commerce logistics market and accelerate its expansion in Southeastern Europe.

This acquisition is part of Alsendo's broader pan-European expansion strategy, which focuses on enhancing its B2C and C2X segments and expanding technological capabilities for e-commerce clients.

The transaction grants Ecolet Curier Online's functional courier service resale platform and its active B2C and C2X customer base, solidifying its position in this market segment.

Oana Mandicescu, General Manager of Ecolet, said: “Romania is a key market for Ecolet and Alsendo. The acquisition of Curier Online's commercial operations helps us deepen our roots in the region while building a seamless, scalable, and tech-driven shipping experience for our customers.”

The integration will optimize operational and technological workflows, offering customers a modernized platform with extended delivery options. The Curier Online brand will cease independent operations, with clients gradually migrating to the Ecolet platform, which will serve as the sole service provider.

Ecolet recorded revenues of RON 12.3 million (€2.47 million) in 2024.
