PLG Group concludes ticketing deal in Romania

Business Forum
PLG Group, the largest ticketing company in CEE, has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Bilete.ro, Entertix.ro, and Myticket.ro, for an undisclosed sum.

This final transaction, concluded on July 4, involved purchasing the remaining shares held by minority stakeholders Răzvan Opran, Ion Stănciulea, and Andreea Pop.

PLG established a strong presence in Romania after acquiring a majority stake in Bilete.ro in mid-2023, followed by the acquisition of Ticketing Nation SRL (operator of Entertix.ro and Myticket.ro) in December 2024. The merged entities now offer the most comprehensive ticketing services in Romania. This move aligns with PLG's initial strategy to enter and consolidate its position in the Romanian market.

Sven Nuutmann, Chairman of the Management Board of PLG, stated: "We remain confident in the continued development of the Romanian events market and its increasingly important role as a strategic point in the region."

This acquisition in Romania follows a year of significant regional expansion for PLG, including the recent purchase of Ticketportal, the market leader in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in June 2025. With these strategic moves, PLG's annual ticketing volume has surged to over €600 million, selling more than 21 million tickets and attracting 160 million annual visits to its platforms.

PLG Group is owned by Angel Rose Capital, BaltCap, and Tristafan.
