B.D.G. Import expands portfolio by partnering with William Grant & Sons

B.D.G. Import, the only Romanian-owned company in the top three imported spirits businesses in the country, announces the addition of the William Grant & Sons brands to its portfolio, starting this month. The company estimates a William Grant & Sons portfolio turnover of up to RON 55 million over the first 12 months. B.D.G. Import aims to double the William Grant & Sons portfolio volume in the first three years.

B.D.G. Import, already at its 30th year of market leadership, ended 2023 with a turnover of RON 365 million. William Grant & Sons is an independent family-owned distiller headquartered in the United Kingdom and founded by William Grant in 1887. Today, the Company distils, bottles, and distributes some of the world's leading brands of Scotch whisky alongside other iconic spirits brands.

With a diverse collection that already includes some of the best-known brands around the world, B.D.G. Import provides superior products and services to its customers. While reaching a growing volume performance over the years and gaining shares in almost all spirits categories, B.D.G. Import marks a significant milestone in its journey via the partnership with William Grant & Sons, resulting in the addition of a diverse range of premium whiskies and premium gin to its portfolio.

B.D.G. IMPORT will exclusively represent in Romania renowned Scotch whisky brands that include Glenfiddich single malt, The Balvenie single malt, Monkey Shoulder blended malt and Grant's blended whisky, alongside Hendrick's super premium Gin and Tullamore D.E.W. Irish whiskey.
