Neakaisa.ro: RON 8.5 million turnover in Q1 2024, up 20%

Business Forum
Neakaisa.ro, an online business with sanitary ware and home improvement products, reported a turnover of RON 8.5 million in the first quarter of this year, up 20% compared to the same period of 2023. The main drivers that boosted the business at the beginning of the year were the results reported by the showroom opened in May 2023, as well as collaborations with architects, the number of which increased by 15%.

According to Neakaisa.ro representatives, the showroom in Bucharest, which opened in May 2023, continued to have a positive impact on business development in the first quarter of the year, after generating around 10% of reported turnover in 2023. At the same time, the company strengthened its partnerships with the architectural community, with the number of collaborators increasing by 15% in the early part of the year.

Another key factor in the dynamics of the business is the development and diversification of the product range, with about 10% of the revenues reported in the first quarter of the year being generated by new manufacturers, which were not in the Neakaisa.ro portfolio in the same period of the previous year.

The cities that generated the most sales in the first quarter of the year remain Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara and Constanta, and in terms of the evolution of the average basket reported in the first three months, it was at the level of 2023, about 1,880 lei, amid a higher number of orders placed.

"This year is one of consolidation and development in all business verticals: showroom, product portfolio, collaborations with architects.  We continue to focus on quality, simplicity, uniqueness of design, diversity of products and synergy between the physical presence of the brand through the showroom and online. The business environment continues to be unpredictable, e-commerce is a highly competitive market, which is starting to be penetrated even by foreign players, so our strategy is to remain relevant, offer a great shopping experience and grow sustainably", says Laura Sardescu, Co-founder and CEO of Neakaisa.ro.

By the end of 2024, Neakaisa.ro maintains its target of 10% organic growth, considering the local and international economic context, as well as increasing competitiveness in all e-commerce verticals. The company is focused on digitization and automation of internal processes, continuous training, and development of employees, refining the omnichannel experience offered to customers, strengthening the relationship with the local community of architects and designers, expanding and diversifying the product portfolio.

Neakaisa.ro is an online store with bathroom fixtures and home improvement products, launched in 2014 by entrepreneurs Laura and Vlad Sardescu. The online store has a variety of over 20,000 products from top manufacturers in various categories. All the ranges presented are chosen in partnership with architects, designers and builders, so that beauty is always combined with practicality.
