Business Forum
IPP Holding, a Romanian company active in retail marketing services in Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, and, more recently, Poland, has signed an agreement to take over the majority stake (90%) of Imersia Multichannel Agency. Both parties signed the deal at the end of last year, and the Competition Council is currently analysing it.

IPP Holding is the sole shareholder in Instore Power Provider (IPP), a company founded by Ionut Valeriu Corniciuc 19 years ago, and has various participation shares in companies in related fields such as promotional logistics, retail media, and in-store robotics.

“Organic growth has secured us continuous and sustainable development all these years, and now acquisitions offer us quick access to new markets, people, and technologies,” said Ionut Valeriu Corniciuc, owner of IPP Holding Group.

Imersia Multichannel Agency was founded in 2009 by George Stefanescu, James Kodor, and Lavinia Yassien and offers integrated distribution and trade marketing services to fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies.

“I firmly believe that together with the IPP team we will fully leverage Imersia's potential, offering our clients innovative solutions and a trusted partnership for their future success,” added George Stefanescu, co-founder of Imersia Multichannel Agency.

During the negotiation process, the parties involved in the deal were assisted by the law firms Andronic and Partners, the civil law firm Vitzman & Asociatii, and the mergers and acquisitions consultant APlus Advisory.
