Premier Energy said its normalised revenue increased by 49% year-on-year, reaching €797.5 million in H1 2025, while its normalised net profit grew by 23% year-on-year, amounting to €31.6 million.

Premier Energy's renewable energy production reached 231 GWh in H1 2025, compared to 69 GWh in the same period of 2024. This growth was attributed to the acquisition of new wind assets in 2024, the commissioning of a cogeneration balancing plant, and the completion of several solar plant developments. The renewable energy segment generated €90 million in revenue, a 3% increase year-on-year.

José Garza, CEO of the Premier Energy Group, said: "With more than 153 MW of renewable projects under construction and further 175 MW in the pipeline, we remain confident in our continued growth trajectory.”

Based on current trends, management projects approximately €1.6 billion in normalized revenue and around €120 million in normalized EBITDA for the full year 2025, added Peter Stohr, CFO of the Premier Energy Group.

The company's electricity supply volumes grew by 36% year-on-year, reaching 4,065 GWh. Following the integration of Premier Energy Furnizare, the company has become the fourth-largest electricity supplier in Romania, serving over 1.3 million customers. The electricity supply business generated €228 million in revenue and €8.5 million in EBITDA in H1 2025.

In the natural gas division, revenue increased by 21% to €205 million in H1 2025. Distribution volumes rose by 18% year-on-year due to network expansion and increasing demand.

The company also reinforced its position as the largest electricity distributor and supplier in the Republic of Moldova. Normalized revenues from this electricity segment increased by 38% year-on-year, reaching €275 million, supported by higher tariffs and the commissioning of 33 MW of solar plants.

Premier Energy closed H1 2025 with a net debt of €161 million, but with an adjusted net debt position of €43 million. This provides flexibility for continued investment in renewable generation and infrastructure assets.

The company also distributed total dividends of €15 million in July 2025, equivalent to €0.12 per share.
