PPC Energie launches O&M service for energy storage

Business Forum
PPC Energie, an integrated energy provider, has added an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) service for energy storage systems (BESS) to its portfolio of solutions for companies.

The new service is aimed at medium and large businesses that own BESS systems installed by PPC Energie, or that intend to install integrated solutions combining photovoltaic panels and BESS systems. It targets businesses in logistics, industry, distribution and retail, agribusiness, shopping centres, industrial parks, hotels, office premises, medical centres and others with similar operating needs.

For BESS systems between 50–99 kWh, a basic package includes annual control activities, preventive maintenance and post-intervention reports. Between 100–500 kWh, the offer adds remote monitoring, phone support and battery health checks, with corrective maintenance services following a differentiated Service Level Agreement (SLA). For capacities over 500 kWh, PPC Energie offers customised solutions adapted to each project.

"The adoption of energy storage systems among companies in Romania is growing, and PPC Energie proposes a model in which maintenance is included from the beginning, eliminating the operational complexity that arises when installation and maintenance are managed by different partners," said Laurenţiu Brumaru, Director of Delivery Factory, PPC Energie.

PPC's portfolio of enterprise solutions includes turnkey photovoltaic systems, LED lighting solutions, modernisation of energy infrastructure and industrial equipment designed to minimise energy losses. In 2025, PPC Energie signed its first contracts for the installation of energy storage systems at customers.
