Artprint, preparing second corporate bond issue of RON 3 million

Business Forum
Artprint, the first private printing house, with over 30 years of presence in the Romanian market, has decided, at the General Shareholders' Meeting held in March 2024, to launch a new corporate bond issuance of RON 3 million, brokered by TradeVille. This decision aims to strengthen the company's market position and diversify its sources of funding.

The company's first corporate bond issuance, issued in 2019 and listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 2020, was successfully repaid at the end of 2023. Artprint intends to utilize the funding raised through the second issuance for investments and working capital.

"We want a diversification of funding sources through a corporate bond issue, our second initiative of this kind. We have chosen capital market financing to solidify a long-term partnership with investors who have been with us in recent years. The company is undergoing a continuous process of transformation and innovation. Some of the resources will be used for investments to replace equipment that has reached the end of its useful lifecycle. Thus, we aim to stabilize the production process and increase productivity," said Cezar - Alexandru Răsuceanu, President Artprint.

Established in 1990, Artprint is one of Romania's leading private printing houses, with a turnover of RON 48.3 million in 2023, an EBITDA of RON 3.9 million, and a net profit of RON 0.66 million. For 2024, the company estimates a 5% increase in turnover and plans to invest approximately RON 3.7 million in state-of-the-art equipment, including a new flatbed printing press and a new computer-to-plate system.

Artprint's primary objective is to adapt to market demands and enhance competitiveness. The company has revised its product portfolio and served market segments, focusing on the production of books and high-volume commercial leaflets. Currently, Artprint collaborates with all book publishers in Romania and is one of their most important suppliers, with an annual print run of approximately 5.4 million books.

Artprint is an entrepreneurial business established in 1990 by Miron Răsuceanu and taken over in 2011 by his son, Cezar - Alexandru. The company has undergone extensive investment programs and has over 150 employees. Artprint collaborates with over 90% of the publishing houses in Romania and serves a diverse range of clients. The company prints books, manuals, textbooks, magazines, newspapers, and advertising materials for advertising agencies, multinational companies, and more.
