Dividend season on the BVB: Average of nearly 5%

Business Forum
The average dividend yield proposed for shareholders' voting for a selection of companies within the BETPlus index is 4.8%, according to a Tradeville report.

Fondul Proprietatea is the company with the highest dividend yield, exceeding the 10% threshold, followed by Conpet (8.3% yield) and Hidroelectrica (7.3%).

Thus, the average estimated yield recorded by the selection of companies in this report, compared to Romania's projected inflation of 3.8% this year, is higher, with 70% of companies exceeding this level.

Since the beginning of 2025, the BETPlus index has recorded a decrease of 1.27%, slightly lower than the main market index, BET, which fell by 1.05%.

The local capital market has been impacted by external factors since the beginning of April, specifically the Trump administration's decision to impose trade tariffs on most countries.

In the case of the EU, the decision was postponed for 90 days, with negotiations to take place regarding the level of tariffs or their potential elimination.
