The company's total net production was 8,473 GWh by September 2025, down from 11,053 GWh in 9M 2024. This sharp decline was primarily driven by the 24% decrease in net electricity production from hydro, which fell from 10,840 GWh to 8,289 GWh. Production from wind also saw a decline of 14%.
Despite the drop in production, the company's total electricity sales were down by a lesser 14%, totaling 10,130 GWh in the first nine months of 2025, compared to 11,719 GWh in the previous year.
This was due to a substantial increase in external acquisition of electricity, which surged by 149% to 1,657 GWh from 666 GWh.
