FP's Board of Nominees welcomes new member

Business Forum
István Sárkány has accepted his mandate as a member of the Board of Nominees of Fondul Proprietatea, effective October 3.

His three-year term was approved by a resolution passed during the Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting (OGM) on September 29.

The appointment follows the resignation of Ileana-Lăcrămioara Isărescu from her position on the Board of Nominees, with her mandate terminating on August 5. The recent OGM resulted in four additional vacancies on the Board.

As a result, the Fund Manager, Franklin Templeton International Services, stated that the appointment of four new members will be on the agenda for the next OGM.

The shareholders' assembly also voted to scrap the previous process for selecting a new fund manager, and the procedure will be restarted from scratch.
