Vista Bank acquires investment firm Investimental

Vista Bank Romania has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Investimental, a financial investment services company.

The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2025, subject to approval by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).

Georgios Athanasopoulos, GM of Vista Bank, said: "This acquisition will consolidate our market presence as a financial group and allow us to offer our clients new financial products and services. Through an improved digital experience, clients will have access to all major markets in Europe and the United States, in addition to the local market." He added that the bank aims to develop an integrated financial ecosystem where clients can find traditional banking services and various investment options through a seamless experience.

PwC and David & Baias provided financial and legal advisory services for this transaction.

Vista Bank operates a network of 35 branches and 5 business centres in Romania.

Investimental is a broker authorised by the ASF for stock exchange transactions on the BVB, offering access to both local and European and American stock exchanges.
