Robert Anghel takes over as Salt Bank CEO

Robert Anghel has taken over leadership of Salt Bank, replacing Gabriela Nistor remains close to Salt as a Board Member.

Anghel has over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and banking. He has been part of the project almost from the beginning as Chief Business Officer.

The goal of the new executive is for Salt to function as a mature bank from all points of view by the end of the year.

Anghel is a graduate of the Politehnica University of Timișoara and holds an MBA from the University of Illinois (USA), specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions.

Finance takes the lead in Bucharest office demand

The Bucharest office market saw last year a shift in hierarchy regarding the sectors generating the most transactions, according to a study by Crosspoint Real Estate. Companies in the banking and financial sector accounted for 25% of the gross leasing volume in Bucharest, surpassing the IT sector (23%) for the first time.
