Robert Anghel takes over as Salt Bank CEO

Robert Anghel has taken over leadership of Salt Bank, replacing Gabriela Nistor remains close to Salt as a Board Member.

Anghel has over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and banking. He has been part of the project almost from the beginning as Chief Business Officer.

The goal of the new executive is for Salt to function as a mature bank from all points of view by the end of the year.

Anghel is a graduate of the Politehnica University of Timișoara and holds an MBA from the University of Illinois (USA), specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions.

Electro-Alfa International posts 12% revenue growth in Q1 2026

Electro-Alfa International, a Romanian manufacturer of electrical equipment and provider of EPC and IT services, reported revenue growth and profitability for Q1 2026. The company's total revenues reached €25.7 million, up 12.2% compared to Q1 2025. Net profit increased by 2.9% to €6.2 million, supported by a 2% increase in EBITDA, which reached €10.6 million.
