Arctic Stream finalises acquisition of stake in Data Core Systems

Arctic Stream, a BVB-listed IT infrastructure and security integrator, has formalised the acquisition of a 23% stake in Data Core Systems (DCS), a local cybersecurity services company.

The transaction is valued at RON 9.89 million (€2 million), comprising a mix of cash, Arctic Stream shares, and bonus payments tied to performance targets.

This acquisition values DCS at RON 43 million (€8.63 million).

Dragoș Diaconu, Founder and CEO of Arctic Stream, said: "Almost a year ago, we declared our partnership aimed to build the strongest technology hub for IT solutions integration and cybersecurity services in the Romanian market. Today, I can confirm that this partnership is operating at the level of excellence we envisioned, and its results will become increasingly substantial."

DCS reported a turnover of over RON 70 million (€14 million) and a net profit of approximately RON 2 million (over €400,000) in 2024. 

Arctic Stream itself achieved a turnover of RON 139 million (€28 million) last year, an 11% increase from the previous year, and a net profit of RON 8.83 million (€1.7 million).
