Metigla plans €15 million investment in Romania

Business Forum
Metigla, a producer of complete solutions for metal roofing and cladding, is preparing to invest €15 million in its local operations, adding to the €25 million invested over the past 25 years.

Metigla launched its local operations in 2000, inaugurating a production unit in Ceptura, Prahova. This unit, initially under the Coilprofil brand, has evolved into a regional centre of excellence.

Currently, the factory includes 5 production halls and 2 warehouses with a total area of over 17,500 sqm, and houses a comprehensive portfolio of products, including metal roof tiles, standing seam roofing, insulated panels, robotic rainwater systems, and photovoltaic solutions.

“In 2025, we will consolidate our presence in key markets and gradually extend this model to more European countries. We are investing in sustainable products, automation, our team and faster customer service. We are a company built for the long term: we manufacture locally, invest locally and grow through our dedicated team, quality and real innovation, not through compromise,” says Olivier Somers, Group CEO of Metigla.

In this context, Metigla has expanded its presence in international markets, with exports currently representing 15% of its activity. Last year, the company recorded a turnover of €27.5 million and a 25% increase in delivered volumes.
