Druid AI launches first chatbot focused on European news

Druid AI has launched ChatEurope, a groundbreaking news platform featuring the first chatbot dedicated to European news.

Led by Agence France-Presse (AFP) and co-funded by the European Commission, ChatEurope brings together a consortium of 15 partners, including a dozen prominent European media organizations such as Deutsche Welle, France Médias Monde, RFI Romania, dpa, Ansa, and El Pais.

"ChatEurope is a striking example of the genuine value that Druid's AI agents bring to society: they enable access to credible information through natural, human-like conversation held in the user's mother tongue," says Andreea Pleșea, Co-Founder and CEO of Druid AI.

The ChatEurope chatbot formulates its answers solely based on thousands of articles provided by consortium members, always citing its sources to guarantee reliability.

Initially launched in seven languages—French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Romanian, and Polish—the chatbot's capability extends to all EU languages.

ChatEurope is co-funded by the European Commission and enjoys complete editorial independence.
