Haleon names GM for CEE cluster

Haleon, the consumer health group, has announced the appointment of Wael Kaskas as General Manager for its Hungary, Romania, Czechia, and Slovakia cluster, effective July.

Kaskas brings extensive experience in the FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, and Supermarket Retail industries, with a distinguished record in managing billion-dollar P&L, orchestrating business turnarounds, and leading organizational transformations. 

Before this appointment, he managed marketing and strategy for Haleon in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region, driving significant growth across various businesses. 

His academic background includes an EMBA in Business Management and Strategy from London Business School.

Kaskas said: "I am committed to strengthening our market position and delivering sustainable results across the region." 

The Romania/Hungary/Czechia/Slovakia cluster is the largest in sales within Haleon's CEE location, which encompasses 34 countries, over 284 million consumers, and boasts approximately £680 million in annual sales.
