E.ON Romania records over 100,000 clients in energy solutions segment

Business Forum
E.ON Energie Romania has seen significant growth in its energy solutions segment, exceeding 100,000 customers who have chosen modern and efficient solutions for their homes or businesses.

Over 10,000 new customers opted for efficient heating, cooling, green energy production, and electric mobility solutions this year.

The company's offerings include a range of products, with a strong focus on heating and cooling solutions. More than 63,000 families now use condensing gas boilers, which have an efficiency of 108% and can lead to energy savings of up to 30%.

During H1 2025, E.ON installed an average of 17 boilers per day. Additionally, 33,000 families are benefiting from the company's cooling solutions, with over 3,580 air conditioning units installed in H1 2025, averaging 20 units per day.

Green energy solutions are also gaining traction, with over 7,000 families using E.ON's turnkey green energy production solutions. The company installed approximately 2,270 PV systems for residential clients this year, a 13% increase compared to the same period last year.

Claudia Griech, General Director of E.ON Energie Romania, said: "The results from the first half of the year strengthen E.ON's position as a leader in providing turnkey energy solutions. We aim to offer customers exactly what they need to reduce their energy consumption and costs. We continue to develop smart products and services for households, companies, and municipalities alike."

On the e-mobility front, the company has installed 600 private charging points for customers and its E.ON Drive mobile app provides access to over 2,000 public charging points for electric vehicle owners in Romania.

A study conducted by E.ON in June 2025 found that urban and suburban residents are interested in acquiring an average of two energy efficiency solutions in the coming year.

The most popular choices are air conditioning units (22%) and photovoltaic panels (17%).

The study, based on a sample of 1,000 people, also revealed that residents already own an average of five energy efficiency solutions.
