Garanti BBVA finances first 5-star hotel from Dambovita County

Garanti BBVA Romania announces the financing of Peștera Wellness & Spa, a premier 5-star hotel located in Peștera-Padina Tourist Resort of National Interest, from the Bucegi Mountains, with a loan of €5 million. Garanti BBVA supports Grupul Industrial Alca SRL, the company behind this investment.

Peștera Wellness & Spa Hotel officially opened its doors to tourists in December, 2024, marking a significant milestone as the first 5-star accommodation in Dâmbovița County. The hotel sets a new standard in Romanian hospitality, by seamlessly blending world-class facilities with the serenity and beauty of the Bucegi Mountains. Built in less than two years, it is set to become a major attraction for both Romanian and international tourists. The hotel's location places it amidst some of Romania's most iconic tourist attractions, such as Babele, Sfinxul, Peștera Ialomiței, Cheile Tătarului and Lacul Bolboci.
