Sun Plaza has completed a major modernisation phase with the reopening of Zara according to the latest global flagship store concept designed by Zara's Architecture Office. The new space features expanded area, integrates new digital solutions and offers a fluid layout with interconnected spaces and separate entrances for intuitive navigation.

"The opening of the new Zara store in Sun Plaza emphasises the solid and long-term partnership between CPI Romania and the Inditex group, also present in the VIVO! shopping centre network," said Fulga Dinu, Country Manager CPI Romania. "This collaboration shows our common commitment to invest in innovative concepts that improve the quality of shopping sessions for our customers."

The new Zara store spans approximately 3,000 sqm across two floors, featuring an avant-garde and sustainable design with boutique-style spaces, a new perfumery zone, and self check-out and self-return options. Inditex has also recently opened a new Pull & Bear store at Sun Plaza, expanded to 900 sqm with minimalist design and new digital solutions.

Sun Plaza is undergoing a complex modernisation process, a major investment aimed at creating new experiences for visitors and consolidating Sun Plaza's position as a reference retail and lifestyle hub. Part of this transformation will include the launch next year of a next-generation Auchan hypermarket covering 7,000 sqm.

The adjacent area will be completed with international fashion brands aligned with the latest trends in modern retail. Inaugurated in 2010, Sun Plaza is the dominant shopping centre in southern Bucharest, with a built area of 208,000 sqm across four floors and underground parking for 2,000 cars.
