Romania's Ministry of National Defence, through CN Romtehnica SA, and the Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, signed a framework agreement for the acquisition of SHORAD-VSHORAD anti-aircraft systems, in a deal worth RON 10.33 billion (around €2 billion).
Under the contract, a large number of COBRA II 4x4 vehicles will be manufactured locally in Romania.
