Citi Romania rolls out GenAI tools for local employees

Citi Romania has implemented three GenAI tools for its employees, as part of a significant global investment designed to simplify workflows and streamline daily tasks.

Citi Stylus is a productivity tool that provides immediate insights from documents in various formats. Citi Stylus Workspaces leverages conversational AI to streamline various tasks, while Citi Assist is a desktop assistant that helps employees navigate Citi's policies and procedures.

Adrian Scarlat, Country CTO for Citi Romania and Bulgaria, said: "By putting GenAI tools into the hands of our colleagues, we will help them make faster decisions, automate repetitive tasks and increase productivity and efficiency in their working lives while maintaining and operating an appropriate risk governance."

To date, approximately 170,000 employees at Citi have access to the tools across 29 countries, with plans to expand throughout the year.
