Trina Storage enters Romanian energy market

Business Forum
Trina Storage, the energy storage division of Trina Solar, has teamed up with Allview, one of Romania's leading EPC contractors, to develop a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

The collaboration marks Trina Storage's entry into the Romanian market and is a strategic move to expand its presence in Eastern Europe.

The project will feature a 65 MWh capacity in central Romania and is part of a larger partnership with the Renovatio Trading initiative.

"The Toplița project is an important step for us—not just because it's our first in Romania, but also because it reflects Trina Storage's long-term commitment to the Eastern European market," said Gabriele Buccini, Head of Trina Storage Europe.

Trina Storage will provide the complete DC-side solution, which includes 16 of its advanced Elementa 2 battery cabinets. Allview will be responsible for the full integration of the AC-side system, including the PCS equipment and medium-voltage infrastructure.

Allview said the joint project will upgrade its role as a strategic player in the advanced energy infrastructure.
