Metropolitan Life recorded an increase of 8% in gross written premiums in 2023

Metropolitan Life, one of the most important players in the life insurance market in Romania, registered during the year 2023 gross written premiums amounting to RON 625.1 million, having an increase of 7.95% compared to the previous year, when the amount of gross written premiums was RON 579.14.

Furthermore, in 2023 Metropolitan Life paid allowances amounting to a total value of RON 198.57, with 9.66% more than in 2022, when the value of the allowances paid amounted to RON 181 million.
