Garanti BBVA Leasing secures €20 million loan from BSTDB to support Romanian SMEs

Garanti BBVA Leasing, part of Garanti BBVA Group Romania, is reinforcing its commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Romania, by securing €20 million loan, from the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB). The funding will enable companies to invest in essential capital assets, expand their operations, and enhance their competitiveness in local and international markets.

This facility marks the fourth financing agreement between BSTDB and Garanti BBVA Leasing during their ten-year partnership. Thus, €42.5 million have been invested in the local economy via SME financing by Garanti BBVA Leasing with the funding from BSTDB. Over 500 Romanian businesses have benefited from these collaborations, receiving critical financial support that drives investments, bolsters operational capacities, and promotes long-term economic resilience.
