PPC blue installs 100 charging points across Selgros stores

PPC Blue Romania, part of the PPC group, has partnered with retailer Selgros to install a network of 100 charging points for electric vehicles across stores in 7 cities, with a total installed power of 5,800 kW.

The first charging stations were installed in 2025 at the Selgros store in Sibiu, featuring 4 charging stations with 8 charging points including one 200 kW ultra-fast station, one 150 kW ultra-fast station and two 22kW AC stations. This year, 12 charging points were installed in Craiova with a total installed power of 700 kW, including stations ranging from 44 kW to 300 kW. Similar installations were completed in Constanța County at Selgros stores in Agigea and Constanța, each totalling 700 kW with 12 charging points.

Starting in June, Selgros customers in Blejoi, Prahova, will access 8 charging points. By year-end, 24 charging stations (48 charging points) will be installed across 4 additional Selgros stores in Bucharest and Ilfov County, totalling approximately 700 kW per location.

Robert Hellwagner, CEO of Selgros Romania, added: "Through the partnership with PPC Blue Romania, we support electric mobility development while offering customers additional services that make their shopping experience more convenient."

PPC blue operates over 1,100 charging points across all Romanian counties with a total installed power exceeding 36 MW.
