PPC Blue Romania acquires Hermes Flow charging network

Business Forum
PPC Blue, the electric mobility division of the PPC Group in Romania, has acquired the Hermes Flow network with 116 charging points to expand its national infrastructure.

"Electric mobility evolves when drivers can travel freely, with confidence in the network that supports them. Expanding our footprint through the acquisition of the Hermes Flow network brings us closer to the goal of providing a charging experience nationwide," said Andreea-Dana Popescu, GM of PPC Blue Romania.

The acquired network consists of 72 charging points in Bucharest-Ilfov and the rest across 10 counties in Romania. The stations are located in accessible areas, including 6 Carrefour stores, 15 Romstal units and several malls. Of the 116 charging points, 97 are fast and ultra-fast with powers between 50kW and 160kW. Once fully integrated, users will have access to a wider network of fast and ultra-fast stations.

The integration process will cause stations to be unavailable for approximately 2-3 hours on transfer days. Until integration is complete, stations will remain visible in the Hermes network before appearing in the PPC Blue app and map.

PPC Blue Romania is part of the PPC Group, which has over 70 years of experience in Greece and leads the energy sector in South-Eastern Europe.
