Garanti BBVA is launching the "E-Term Deposit" campaign, encouraging savings and the use of digital channels, by offering customers a 1% bonus on their deposited amount, up to RON 500, for new fresh funds to the bank placed in deposits opened online. The campaign runs from February 17 to May 31, 2025, and is available to retail customers who open a new deposit in lei via Mobile Banking or Internet Banking.

Through this initiative, the bank aims to promote mid-term saving habits and support customers in achieving their financial goals with a convenient and fully online offer.

"Saving is essential for financial stability, and through the «E-Term Deposit» campaign, we want to provide a real incentive for customers who choose to save online. Digitalization of banking services is a strategic direction for Garanti BBVA, and this campaign reflects our commitment to offering customers safe, efficient, and advantageous solutions," said Tolga Banyocu, Deputy General Manager, Client Solutions Area, Garanti BBVA.

Customers who open a new time deposit and bring fresh funds with the bank with amounts between RON 5,000 and RON 100,000 and a minimum 3-month maturity will receive a 1% bonus of the deposit value, granted upon maturity. Each customer can benefit from this bonus only once, for their first-time deposit opened during the campaign period.

The bonus will be credited directly to the customer's main current account after the deposit reaches maturity, provided it remains active until the end of the term. Bonus payments will be made monthly, between the 1st and 15th of the following month, for deposits that have reached maturity.

Garanti BBVA continues to innovate and strengthen its position in the deposit market through modern solutions tailored to customer needs, while also encouraging saving and efficient financial management.
