Saint-Gobain Romania names new CEO

Business Forum
Construction materials supplier Saint-Gobain Romania has appointed Jakub Kotala as its CEO starting July.

Kotala, previously CFO of the global Construction Chemicals division, takes the helm from Ovidiu Păscuțiu, who has been promoted to Vice President of the Saint-Gobain Group, Performance Segment Insulation.

His appointment aligns with Saint-Gobain's global initiative to deepen its multi-local model, empowering country CEOs to manage all product lines and oversee operational and financial performance locally.

"For me, quality leadership is about creating an environment in which people are empowered to deliver their very best," said Kotala.

Saint-Gobain Romania employs approximately 2,000 people across 14 industrial sites in Romania.
