The Board of Directors of Transport Trade Services (TTS) has announced a significant leadership change, appointing Ana Bobircă as the new Chairwoman.

She was elected to the position with the votes of shareholders representing 75% of the company's share capital.

Bobircă, an independent director, becomes the first person to hold the position since the company's establishment in 1997. Her appointment follows the retirement of Alexandru-Mircea Mihăilescu, the Founder of TTS.

Meanwhile, the Board has granted Mihăilescu the title of Honorary Chairman and he will remain involved with the group.

Bobircă has over 15 years of leadership experience in strategic financial services and corporate governance.

She has been an Associate Professor at INDE MBA since 2020. Bobircă also serves as Vice-President of the Businessmen's Association of Romania (AOAR).

She holds a PhD in International Business and Economics (2003) and a Bachelor's degree in the same field (1997) from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).
