Electrica CEO mandate extended

Electrica's Board of Directors has approved new four-year mandates for its top executive leadership following a meeting on 27 March.

Alexandru-Aurelian Chiriță, who has served as CEO since May 2022, will start a new term on 1 January 2027. His current mandate is set to expire on 31 December 2026, with the new appointment lasting until 1 January 2031.

Additionally, the Board extended the mandate of Ioana Andreea Lambru as Chief Business Development Officer. Her new four-year term will commence on 16 March 2027 and run until 16 March 2031.

For the financial department, Costin-Ionuț Iordache was appointed as interim CFO from 1 April 2026 until the end of the year.
