Vodafone and DIGI finalise joint acquisition of Telekom Romania Mobile

Vodafone Romania and DIGI Romania have signed the legal documents for their respective acquisitions of parts of Telekom Romania Mobile Communications (TKRM).

The transactions, expected to close in early October, will see Vodafone take over TKRM's postpaid and business segments, including employees, the retail network, and network infrastructure. The value of the assets Vodafone is acquiring is €30 million.

In a parallel and interdependent deal, DIGI Romania has acquired certain assets from TKRM, including specific spectrum licenses, telecommunications towers, and the entire prepaid mobile services business, for €40 million.
