PeliPartners assists WDP in €110 million acquisition on Romanian market

PeliPartners is proud to announce its role in assisting WDP, one of the largest logistics real estate companies, with a significant acquisition on the Romanian market. WDP's acquisition includes around 135,000 sqm of directly yielding assets and 300,000 sqm of development potential, representing an investment of approximately €110 million. The transaction allows WDP's Romanian footprint to grow to around 2 million sqm in gross leasable area.

PeliPartners provided comprehensive support to WDP throughout the transaction, encompassing due diligence, negotiation and execution of the transaction documents. PeliPartners has a successful partnership with WDP, as previously assisted their client with the acquisition of Arad Business Park, with an area of 42,000 sqm logistics centre in Arad.

The strategic landbank in Constanta positions WDP for long-term growth amidst the region's projected infrastructure investments. These include investments in port terminals, logistics capabilities, security, NATO presence, new highways, and preparations for Schengen Area accession, bolstering its role in global trade route diversification and Black Sea access.
